Loss Prevention Associate

Aritzia is seeking a professional and organized Loss Prevention Associate to join our team! This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our stores while assisting in the prevention of loss. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to think quickly on their feet. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous retail, customer service, or security experience • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Flexible availability to work days, nights, and weekends • Valid security guard certification (where applicable)

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
2. Monitor and patrol store to ensure safety and security of customers and staff
3. Investigate and report any suspicious activity or theft
4. Respond to alarm systems and investigate any potential security breaches
5. Maintain up-to-date records of any security incidents or investigations
6. Monitor surveillance systems and CCTV footage
7. Intervene in any conflicts or disputes between customers or staff
8. Report any issues or concerns to management
9. Remain updated on security protocols and policies
10. Perform regular store checks to ensure loss prevention measures are in place
11. Assist in training and educating staff on loss prevention and safety procedures
12. Assist with inventory control and stock monitoring
13. Remain flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
14. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
15. Adhere to company policies and procedures
16. Perform other related duties as assigned.
