  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure their proper functioning.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  3. Repair or replace defective components of HVAC systems, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
  4. Monitor and maintain proper levels of refrigerant and other fluids in HVAC systems.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair tasks.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in HVAC systems to continuously improve our operations.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding the status of HVAC systems and any potential issues.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  11. Provide training and guidance to junior HVAC technicians and apprentices.
  12. Adhere to Arconic’s policies and procedures and promote a positive and safe work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Hvac Systems, Including Installation, Maintenance, And Repair Techniques. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Regulations And Safety Standards.

  • Relevant Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Hvac Field Is Typically Required For This Position. Candidates With Experience Working On Industrial Or Commercial Hvac Systems Will Be Preferred.

  • Certification And Licenses: A Valid Hvac Certification And Any Required Licenses Are Essential For This Role. This Includes Epa Certification For Handling Refrigerants And Any State-Specific Licenses For Hvac Technicians.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Hvac Specialist Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Diagnose Issues With Hvac Systems, As Well As Develop Effective Solutions To Resolve Them. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities.

  • Physical Abilities: This Job May Involve Lifting Heavy Equipment, Working In Confined Spaces, And Being Exposed To Extreme Temperatures. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform The Physical Demands Of The Job.
