Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. As the EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  3. Create and maintain a culture of safety by providing training, resources, and support to all employees.
  4. Stay up-to-date on all EHS regulations and industry best practices to continuously improve the company's safety protocols.
  5. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify and address safety concerns.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventative actions to mitigate safety risks.
  7. Develop and manage emergency response plans and procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities and performance.
  9. Serve as the main point of contact for all EHS-related inquiries and concerns.
  10. Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all permits and licenses.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize potential workplace hazards.
  12. Monitor and analyze EHS data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  13. Communicate EHS initiatives and expectations to all levels of the organization.
  14. Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals to ensure a high level of performance and engagement.
  15. Collaborate with management to develop and achieve EHS-related goals and objectives.
  16. Act as a liaison between the company and external EHS consultants or contractors.
  17. Coordinate and participate in EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  18. Develop and manage the EHS budget, including allocating resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  19. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the company's EHS program.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In Ehs Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Health, Safety, And Environmental Compliance.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Policies And Procedures.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Preferred.
