- Create accurate and precise technical drawings using drafting software for the production of our products.
- Utilize your knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure that all drawings are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with our design team to develop innovative and efficient solutions for our products.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Organize and maintain all design documents and drawings, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Identify and troubleshoot any design or drawing issues, working with the team to find solutions.
- Continuously review and improve existing designs, incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
- Meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in drafting software to ensure the most efficient and accurate designs.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures in all aspects of work.
Proficiency In Drafting Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Proficiency In Industry-Standard Drafting Software Such As Autocad, Solidworks, Or Creo.
Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes: A Drafter I At Arconic Will Be Responsible For Creating Detailed Drawings For Various Manufacturing Processes. Therefore, A Basic Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes Such As Casting, Machining, And Assembly Is Essential.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately And Precisely Create Technical Drawings With Attention To Detail Is Crucial For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Catch Even The Smallest Errors In Drawings.
