Sheet Metal Mechanic Supervisor

Performs administrative and technical supervisory functions in directing subordinate Sheet Metal Mechanics. Routinely checks to verify that subordinates are using all required PPE. Assigns duties and evaluates performance. Develops performance requirements for subordinates and ensures a mutual understanding of the performance standards. Resolves complaints and grievances. Practices non-discriminatory and non-retaliatory employment actions and prevents unlawful discrimination or harassment. Assigns work to employees directly and provides technical direction and/or assistance in accomplishing the work. Promotes a positive work environment and the participation of employees in enrichment programs. Maintains production reports and records. Plans and lays out templates for construction and repair of components for heating, ventilation and air conditioning duct work, kitchen equipment and exhaust hoods and copper roof components.
