  • Assist experienced professionals with the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems within our facilities.
  • Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Handle and transport materials and tools necessary for the job.
  • Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.
  • Assist with the assembly and installation of various piping components.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Pipefitting Techniques And Materials: A Pipefitter Helper At The Architect Of The Capitol Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Pipes, Fittings, And Installation Methods.

  • Physical Fitness And Strength: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Standing For Extended Periods Of Time, So The Candidate Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform Manual Labor.

  • Ability To Read Blueprints And Diagrams: The Candidate Must Have The Ability To Interpret And Follow Technical Drawings And Specifications To Assist In The Installation And Repair Of Piping Systems.

  • Safety Training And Awareness: A Pipefitter Helper Must Have Completed Safety Training And Be Aware Of All Safety Protocols And Regulations, Including Proper Use Of Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe).

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Larger Team Of Tradespeople, A Pipefitter Helper Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Their Colleagues And Follow Directions From Supervisors. They Must Also Be Willing To Work Collaboratively And Assist Others When Needed.
