Job Description

If so, the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking a talented and driven Marketing and Communications Director to join our team. As the AOC's Marketing and Communications Director, you will play a critical role in promoting the AOC's mission and enhancing our brand presence. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of success in marketing, communications, and team management.   1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote the mission and brand of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC).
  2. Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to reach target audiences and increase brand awareness.
  3. Manage a team of marketing and communications professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
  4. Collaborate with various departments within the AOC to identify and prioritize marketing and communications needs and initiatives.
  5. Oversee the creation of engaging and effective marketing collateral, including print materials, digital content, and social media campaigns.
  6. Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and partners to enhance the AOC's brand presence and reach.
  8. Plan and manage marketing and communications budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet objectives.
  9. Serve as a spokesperson for the AOC, representing the organization in media interviews, public speaking engagements, and other external communications.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing and communications, and incorporate them into the AOC's strategies.
  11. Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the marketing and communications team.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Marketing And Communications, Preferably In The Government Or Architecture Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Branding, Messaging, And Marketing Strategies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Marketing And Communication Campaigns.

  • Excellent Oral And Written Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.
