We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Control Systems Specialist to join our team and help us maintain and enhance the control systems that support the operations of our historic buildings and facilities. This role requires a technical expert with a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our critical infrastructure.   1. Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and enhancing the industrial control systems of the Architect of the Capitol's historic buildings and facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with industrial control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of control systems to identify potential areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of control systems with other building systems and operations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in industrial control systems, and make proactive recommendations for incorporating new technology and techniques.
  6. Create and maintain detailed documentation of control systems, including procedures, protocols, and troubleshooting guides.
  7. Train and mentor team members on the proper use and maintenance of control systems, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  8. Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective installation and maintenance of control systems.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including cybersecurity protocols and safety regulations.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze control system data to identify and address any potential vulnerabilities or issues before they become critical problems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Industrial Control Systems, Preferably In A Government Or Large-Scale Facility Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Programming And Troubleshooting Plcs, Hmis, And Other Industrial Control Systems.

  • Familiarity With Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Nist 800-82 And Isa/Iec 62443.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
