The Architect of the Capitol is seeking a talented and skilled individual to join our team as an HVAC Electronics Mechanic Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in our iconic buildings on Capitol Hill. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for preserving and maintaining our nation's historic buildings.   1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in historic buildings on Capitol Hill.
  2. Ensure that all HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  3. Lead a team of HVAC electronics mechanics and provide guidance and support to ensure successful completion of tasks.
  4. Train and mentor team members to develop their skills and knowledge in HVAC electronics maintenance and repair.
  5. Monitor and track work orders, schedules, and budgets to meet project deadlines and goals.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify any potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance and repair projects.
  8. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to improve the longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems.
  9. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC system issues and develop solutions.
  10. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all maintenance and repair activities.
  11. Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology to improve job performance.
  12. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with building occupants and stakeholders.
  14. Uphold the values and standards of the Architect of the Capitol and contribute to maintaining the historic integrity of the buildings.
  15. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hvac And Electronics, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Proficient In Troubleshooting And Repairing Complex Hvac Systems And Electronic Controls.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Automation Systems, Including Programming And Configuration.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Diagrams, Schematics, And Blueprints.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Mentor A Team Of Technicians.
