High Voltage Electrician

The Architect of the Capitol is seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage Electrician to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex electrical and related maintenance activities that support high voltage operations. The ideal candidate should be a strong team player, have a passion for problem-solving and have a commitment to safety. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who can work independently and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications: a minimum of five years of experience as a high voltage electrician in the electrical industry; strong knowledge of electrical equipment installation and repair; knowledge of the National Electric Code and other applicable codes and standards; excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills; and a valid driver’s license. The successful candidate should also have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Install and repair high voltage electrical equipment
• Ensure that installations and repairs are performed in compliance with National Electric Code and other applicable codes and standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
