
Electronics Mechanic
We’re looking for a highly motivated Electronics Mechanic to join the Architect of the Capitol team! This position is ideal for passionate individuals who have a knack for understanding complex electronic systems and enjoy problem solving. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics principles, a proven track record of troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment and the ability to work independently. The Electronics Mechanic will be a key part of our team, responsible for providing a wide range of electronic maintenance services to the Architect of the Capitol. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent• At least one year of experience in electronics maintenance and repair• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles • Basic understanding of the use of test equipment and tools, such as voltmeters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals • Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems • Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Ability to lift and move heavy objects• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Must be able to obtain/maintain access to government facilities as required
Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment • Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals • Use test equipment and tools, such as voltmeters, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. • Demonstrate a strong understanding of electronics principles • Provide a wide range of electronic maintenance services to the Architect of the Capitol • Work both independently and in a team environment • Lift and move heavy objects • Work in a fast-paced environment • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills • Maintain access to government facilities as required
