Electrician Supervisor

The Architect of the Capitol is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Electrician Supervisor to join the Facilities Management Division! We are searching for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and creating a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate must possess the skills and qualifications necessary to successfully manage our electrical systems and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.The Electrician Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising electrical operations, providing guidance to lower-level electricians, and overseeing the daily electrical activities of the division. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations; excellent management and communication skills; and the ability to develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures. Additionally, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid state journeyman electrician license.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain electrical systems and ensure their proper operation.
2. Manage and supervise electrical operations.
3. Provide guidance and support to lower-level electricians.
4. Oversee the daily electrical activities of the division.
5. Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
6. Ensure that electrical systems and components comply with applicable codes and regulations.
7. Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure the efficient functioning of all electrical systems.
8. Monitor and evaluate the performance of electricians.
9. Create and maintain records of electrical systems and components.
10. Work with vendors to purchase and install new equipment as needed.
