  1. Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in historic buildings and facilities.
  2. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

  4. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
  5. Develop and expand knowledge of electrical concepts and principles through on-the-job training and other opportunities for learning.
  6. Complete tasks and projects in a timely manner, meeting all established deadlines and quality standards.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, including any repairs or maintenance completed.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable industry standards and regulations.

  11. Use electrical tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Electrical Systems: A Qualified Electrical Helper/Worker Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Electrical Systems, Including Wiring, Circuits, And Safety Protocols.

  • Experience In Construction Or Maintenance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Construction Or Maintenance, Preferably In An Electrical Capacity. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Physically Demanding Environment.

  • Familiarity With Tools And Equipment: An Electrical Helper/Worker Should Be Familiar With The Tools And Equipment Used In Electrical Work, Including Meters, Conduit Benders, And Wire Strippers.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints: As Part Of Their Responsibilities, An Electrical Helper/Worker May Be Required To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Schematics. This Requires Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Follow Technical Diagrams.

  • Safety Training And Certifications: The Architect Of The Capitol Places A High Priority On Safety, So Candidates Should Have Completed Safety Training Programs And Hold Relevant Certifications, Such As Osha 10 Or 30-Hour Training. This Ensures That They Can Work Safely And Follow All Necessary Protocols On The Job Site.
