  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the control room, ensuring all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to a team of control room operators, setting expectations, delegating tasks, and ensuring a high level of performance.
  3. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the control room, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  4. Monitor and analyze data from various systems and equipment to identify any potential issues or malfunctions, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  5. Communicate and coordinate with other departments and teams within the Capitol complex to effectively respond to emergencies and maintain the safety and security of the facilities.
  6. Train and mentor new control room operators, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in control room technology, and make recommendations for improvements and updates to equipment and processes.
  8. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of control room equipment and systems, and coordinate with maintenance teams for any necessary repairs or upgrades.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all control room activities, including incident reports, equipment logs, and maintenance records.
  10. Uphold a strong commitment to customer service, responding promptly and professionally to any inquiries or concerns from building tenants and visitors.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Building And Facility Systems: A Control Room Operator Leader At Architect Of The Capitol Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Building Systems Such As Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Fire Safety. This Knowledge Is Necessary For Effectively Monitoring And Controlling These Systems From The Control Room.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Leader, The Control Room Operator Leader Must Have Excellent Communication And Decision-Making Skills. They Must Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Manage A Team, And Respond Quickly And Efficiently To Emergencies.

  • Experience In Control Room Operations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Control Room Setting, Preferably In A Facility Or Building Management Context. This Experience Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage The Control Room Operations At Architect Of The Capitol.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem-Solve: Control Room Operator Leaders Must Be Able To Think Critically And Troubleshoot Issues That May Arise With Building Systems Or Equipment. They Should Also Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Quickly Address Any Malfunctions Or Emergencies That May Occur.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Regulations And Procedures: The Control Room Operator Leader Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Procedures, Including Those Specific To The Architect Of The Capitol. This Knowledge Is Necessary To Ensure The Safety Of Building Occupants And Employees, As Well As The Protection Of The Building And Its Systems.
