  1. Oversee and coordinate all building services and maintenance operations for the Architect of the Capitol.
  2. Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all facilities, including historic buildings.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules for all buildings.
  4. Manage and supervise a team of building service technicians and custodial staff.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair projects.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and identify any issues or areas in need of attention.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all building services activities.
  8. Communicate with stakeholders and provide updates on building services operations and projects.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of building services policies and procedures.
  10. Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  11. Coordinate and oversee external contractors and vendors as needed.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with building systems or equipment.
  13. Train and develop staff on building services protocols and procedures.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Maintain a high level of customer service and respond to any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Architecture, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Building Management Or Facilities Coordination

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Industry Standards

  • Experience With Project Management And Budgeting Processes

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.
