Job Description

Youth Programs will deliver the training aspects of the health education interventions that target young (18-24) African-American and Latino gay and non-gay identified men who sex with men (MSM). The Prevention Training Specialist, Youth Programs is responsible for helping to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate all training services for the program. Provides health education activities to members of the target population. Assists with data entry and other administrative tasks. Assists in the development and implementation of community forums. Works with the Evaluation Specialist to develop and implement program evaluations, quality improvement plans, and to develop and implement program curricula.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience in a nonprofit environment preferred

  • 2 years of experience working with young gay and non-gay identified African American and Latino MSM

  • Training experience working in HIV prevention and heatlh education/health promotion and/or substance abuse treatment and program development

  • Experience in outreach and community organizing along with conducting educational trainings
