Job Description

The PRT Actuary, Retirement Practice- Insurance and Annuities on Aon’s Annuity and Insurance Team is responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of consulting to our institutional clients on annuity (e.g., pension risk transfer, “PRT”) and pension-related life insurance matters. They also support marketing activities intended to develop new business and consulting relationships, including requests for proposals, new business presentations, and statements of work. Proactive and creative support to clients. Good judgment and appropriate follow-through with clients, colleagues, investment managers and other service providers to clients. Initiative and ownership of all client-related work. Management and delivery of loosely defined and complex practice/research work and client projects. Presentations to clients, their trustees, and boards of directors.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years of experience with annuity and pension insurance products, preferably working with institutional clients

  • Life Insurance license preferred

  • ASA or FSA preferred

  • Strong knowledge of insurance companies, institutional PRT products, practices, and contacts

Compensation
