Job Description

As an Actuarial Consultant, you will be responsible for producing clean, high-quality actuarial analyses with an eye towards the future. This includes, but is not limited to, actuarial modeling, managing multiple projects, communicating with clients, and working as an integral part of a broader Aon team. Serve as a project leader and have ownership of work products. Establish credibility with clients and colleagues alike; be recognized as an effective problem solver. Produce high-quality oral and written work products, communicating sophisticated technical matters clearly and concisely. Continuously develop and apply improved procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency, and alert team members to deficiencies in data, processes, and results. Improve existing processes and actuarial approaches. Work effectively with colleagues (both in office & virtually), provide constructive feedback, and support teamwork within Aon.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society or near Associate preferred.

  • Experience presenting and communicating technical concepts to less-technical (or non-technical) people

  • Ability to operate effectively through challenging or ambiguous situations.

  • Minimum of four years of insurance proven experience preferred, particularly in or adjacent to the actuarial function.
