  1. Develop and implement innovative design strategies for Amtrak stations, ensuring they align with the company's overall vision and brand.
  2. Lead and manage a team of designers and architects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of station design projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure design solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify current and future design trends and incorporate them into station designs.
  5. Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines for all Amtrak stations, ensuring consistency and brand cohesion across the network.
  6. Oversee the budget and timeline for all station design projects, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  7. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of Amtrak stations, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements as needed.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in the design and development of stations.
  9. Foster partnerships with external design firms, contractors, and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in the development of station designs.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in design technology, incorporating them into station designs to enhance the passenger experience.
  11. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the design team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  12. Act as a liaison between Amtrak and external stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups, to gather input and address concerns related to station design.
  13. Communicate effectively with senior management and present design proposals and updates to key stakeholders.
  14. Ensure all station design projects are completed with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental impact.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Architecture, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Station Design And Construction Management.

  • Proficiency In Autocad And Other Design Software.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including Budgeting And Scheduling.

  • Knowledge Of Ada Regulations And Other Relevant Building Codes.
