We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Supply Chain Planner to join the Supply Chain team at Amtrak! Our ideal candidate will have the ability to identify and analyze supply chain issues and develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The Senior Supply Chain Planner will be a key member of the team, working collaboratively to ensure Amtrak’s supply chain operates at maximum efficiency and cost savings. This highly visible role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who is also detail-oriented and a strong communicator. We are looking for a dynamic individual with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning and a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with various stakeholders and multiple departments. Candidates must also have a solid understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
