Extensive Experience: A Senior Maintenance Engineer At Amtrak Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Maintenance Engineering, Preferably In The Railroad Or Transportation Industry. This Experience Should Include Both Hands-On Technical Work As Well As Leadership And Project Management Roles.
Strong Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Mechanical, Electrical, And/Or Civil Engineering Principles As They Apply To Maintenance And Repair Of Railroad Equipment And Infrastructure.
