- Develop and implement effective learning solutions that align with Amtrak's overall business goals and objectives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on learning systems and technologies, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and design learning programs that meet those needs.
- Evaluate and select appropriate learning systems and technologies to support the organization's learning initiatives.
- Create and maintain a user-friendly interface for all learning systems, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for employees.
- Train and support employees in effectively utilizing learning systems and technologies.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of learning programs to measure effectiveness and make necessary improvements.

- Collaborate with other departments to integrate learning systems into other HR processes, such as performance management and career development.
- Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve learning systems and processes to enhance the overall employee learning experience.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to learning programs to meet their needs.

Extensive Experience With Learning Management Systems: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Learning Management Systems (Lms) And Be Able To Navigate And Utilize Them Effectively. This Includes Experience With System Administration, User Management, Course Creation, And Reporting.
Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Learning Systems Specialist Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Related To The Lms. Proficiency In Html, Css, And Javascript Is Also Important For Customizing And Enhancing The Lms.
Project Management Experience: This Role Will Involve Managing Multiple Projects Related To The Lms, Such As System Upgrades, New Feature Implementations, And Training Initiatives. Candidates Should Have Experience In Project Management And Be Able To Effectively Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines.
