- Learn and understand the safety protocols and procedures for operating and maintaining Amtrak's trains.
- Assist and shadow experienced Passenger Engineers in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
- Develop a strong understanding of train equipment and systems.
- Continuously monitor train performance and make adjustments as needed.
