- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems of trains to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Utilize journeyman level machining skills to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Completion Of An Accredited Machinist Apprenticeship Program
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Machinist, Preferably In The Railroad Industry
Knowledge Of Various Machine Tools And Their Maintenance And Repair Procedures
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Manuals, And Use Precision Measuring Instruments
