Lead Financial Analyst

At Amtrak, we are looking for a Lead Financial Analyst who is passionate about financial analysis and is eager to join our team. Our Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and operational insight to our executive team and business partners. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of advanced financial modeling techniques and the ability to interpret financial data to make critical business decisions.The successful Lead Financial Analyst will possess excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.Required qualifications for this position include:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data• Ability to work independently and in a team setting• Strong project management skills• Knowledge of SQL, SAS and/or Tableau is a plusIf you are a creative problem solver with a passion for financial analysis, we want to hear from you!
