  1. Oversee the financial analysis of all grants received by Amtrak, ensuring accuracy and compliance with grant requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with grant funding agencies and partners.
  3. Create and maintain detailed financial reports and documentation for all grant-funded projects.
  4. Monitor and track grant funds, ensuring proper allocation and utilization.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and effective use of grant funds.
  6. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with grant regulations and guidelines.
  7. Identify potential risks and issues related to grant funding and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding financial aspects of grant management.
  9. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior management, regarding the status of grant-funded projects.
  10. Continuously improve and streamline processes related to grant management to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in grant regulations to ensure Amtrak remains in compliance.
  12. Mentor and train junior financial analysts on grant management best practices.
  13. Represent Amtrak in meetings and negotiations with grant funding agencies.
  14. Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of grant funds into overall financial management.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the financial analysis and management processes for grants to ensure maximum impact and efficient use of resources.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Grants Management Or Financial Analysis

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Team Members And External Stakeholders
