Foreman

At Amtrak, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and organizing a team of technicians and laborers to ensure the safe and efficient completion of maintenance and repair operations. You will be the supervisor of the workforce, and therefore must have excellent communication and supervisory skills. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience leading teams in the railroad industry, and a strong working knowledge of the processes and procedures related to railroad maintenance. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license and be physically fit to be able to perform the required duties. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. You must be able to motivate and lead your team to successfully complete tasks while also promoting a safe and harmonious work environment.
