Job Description

Amtrak is looking for an energetic and motivated Communications & Signals Network Intern to join our team! This is a great opportunity to get real-world experience in the communications and signals field and gain an understanding of the inner workings of a major transportation provider. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about technology and has a strong interest in learning how networks work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the development of Amtrak’s Communications & Signals Network.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; have knowledge of the principles, theories, and concepts of computer and communications networks; have experience with various computer operating systems, including Linux; and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
