- Develop and implement production planning strategies for various products in line with Amgen's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and logistics, to ensure efficient and timely production and delivery of medicines.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage inventory levels and work closely with procurement to ensure adequate supply of raw materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all supply chain activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor and track production and inventory costs to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, including setting goals, providing training and development opportunities, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in production planning and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement at Amgen.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, With A Focus On Production Planning.
Strong Understanding Of Production Planning Principles And Strategies, Including Forecasting, Inventory Management, And Capacity Planning.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Supply Chain Issues Efficiently.
Experience Working In A Highly Regulated Industry, Such As Pharmaceuticals, And Familiarity With Relevant Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
