
Sr. Counsel - Biotech Patent Law

- Provide strategic and legal counsel for Amgen's biotech patent portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect and maximize intellectual property rights.

- Advise on potential risks and opportunities related to biotech patents.
- Communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to junior members of the legal team.
- Represent Amgen in legal proceedings related to biotech patents.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information related to Amgen's intellectual property.
- Continuously evaluate and improve biotech patent strategies to support Amgen's mission of improving patients' lives.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School With A Concentration In Patent Law
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience Practicing Biotech Patent Law At A Top Law Firm Or In-House At A Biotech/Pharmaceutical Company
Admitted To Practice Law In At Least One State And Registered To Practice Before The United States Patent And Trademark Office
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Patent Prosecution, Portfolio Management, And Patent Litigation In The Biotech Industry
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Advise Senior Leadership On Patent Matters.
