  1. Lead the development and implementation of new products within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, supply chain, and quality control, to drive innovation and streamline new product development processes.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of NPI projects.
  5. Utilize strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to anticipate and address potential roadblocks in the NPI process.
  6. Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components for new product development.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimize NPI processes.
  8. Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on the progress of NPI projects.
  9. Maintain a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.
  11. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to support their professional development.
  12. Continuously seek out new technologies and methodologies to enhance NPI processes and drive innovation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Specialist In Manufacturing And New Product Introduction At Amgen Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Discipline. This Knowledge Base Is Essential For Understanding Complex Manufacturing Processes And Developing Effective Solutions For New Product Introductions.

  • Previous Experience In Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry: Amgen Is A Leading Biotechnology Company, And Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp) And Other Regulatory Requirements.

  • Project Management Skills: Npi Specialists At Amgen Are Responsible For Managing The Entire Product Introduction Process, From Concept To Commercialization. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential For Coordinating And Executing All Aspects Of The Npi Process Effectively.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Npi Specialist Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Issues, And Develop Practical Solutions To Meet Project Timelines And Quality Standards. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As An Npi Specialist, The Individual Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, And Manufacturing. Effective Communication And Collaboration Are Essential For Building Strong Relationships And Ensuring The Successful Execution Of Npi Projects At Amgen.
