Lead and coordinate cross-functional research projects from conception to delivery.
Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure project goals are met.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
Manage project scope and ensure all project deliverables are met.
Identify and mitigate potential project roadblocks.
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and vendors.
Ensure all projects comply with company policies and procedures.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior project management staff.
Continuously monitor and evaluate project processes to identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate and facilitate project team meetings.
Develop and maintain project documentation and reports.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in biotechnology.
Uphold a high standard of quality and compliance in all project activities.
Act as a liaison between different departments and teams to promote seamless project execution.
Identify and implement best practices for project management within the company.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for the project team.
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Continuously assess and manage project risks and proactively develop contingency plans.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Senior Research Project Manager At Amgen Should Have A Graduate Or Post-Graduate Degree In A Scientific Discipline, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Bioengineering. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Understanding Of The Research Process.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Project Management: Amgen Is Looking For A Senior Research Project Manager With Proven Experience In Successfully Managing Complex Projects. A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Project Management Experience, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, Is Required For This Role.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Research Project Manager, The Ability To Lead And Communicate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams Is Crucial. Amgen Is Looking For A Candidate Who Is Able To Inspire And Motivate Team Members, As Well As Effectively Communicate Project Updates And Results To Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Drug Development Process: A Strong Understanding Of The Drug Development Process Is Essential For A Senior Research Project Manager At Amgen. This Includes Knowledge Of Pre-Clinical And Clinical Research, Regulatory Requirements, And Project Management Methodologies Used In The Industry.
Ability To Adapt And Problem-Solve: Amgen Is A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, And The Senior Research Project Manager Must Be Able To Adapt To Changing Priorities And Effectively Problem-Solve When Issues Arise.
