- Identify and prioritize learning needs within the R&D department and develop appropriate solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of learning programs and make necessary improvements to drive results.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure that Amgen's R&D learning strategy remains innovative and effective.
- Manage the budget for R&D learning initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the R&D department.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external learning partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources.
- Communicate progress and results of learning initiatives to senior leadership and make recommendations for future improvements.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Instructional Design, Or Organizational Development.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Learning And Development, With A Focus On R&D Or Scientific Training.
Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Stakeholders.
In-Depth Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies.
Knowledge Of The Pharmaceutical Industry And R&D Processes, Including Clinical Trials And Drug Development.
