Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of field teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide leadership and direction to field teams to drive performance and achieve business goals.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and team members.
Create innovative solutions to address challenges and drive efficiency.
Track and report on the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and cross-functional partners.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve field effectiveness.
Train and coach field teams on new strategies and processes.
Lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with field teams and cross-functional partners.
Develop and manage budgets and resources for field effectiveness initiatives.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the field teams.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Represent Amgen and the Senior Manager, Field Effectiveness role at industry events and conferences.
Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement within the role and the company.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard new field team members.
Evaluate and provide feedback on field team performance.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Sales And Field Effectiveness: A Senior Manager At Amgen Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Sales And Field Effectiveness, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing Teams And Developing Strategies To Improve Sales Effectiveness.
Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Senior Manager, The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Is Crucial. This Includes Skills Such As Setting Goals, Providing Feedback, And Motivating Team Members To Achieve Their Best Performance.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: Amgen’s Senior Manager, Field Effectiveness Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Sales Data And Developing Strategies To Improve Field Effectiveness. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Think Strategically To Identify Areas For Improvement And Develop Effective Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role, As The Senior Manager Will Be Responsible For Presenting Findings And Recommendations To Senior Leadership And Other Stakeholders. Strong Presentation Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are A Must-Have For This Position.
