Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize impact on production.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to make recommendations for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards to create a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Maintenance And Repair Of Complex Machinery And Equipment: A Senior Maintenance Technician At Amgen Should Possess A Strong Background In Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining Various Types Of Machinery And Equipment Used In Biotech Manufacturing Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Control Systems.
Proficiency In Following Safety Protocols And Regulations: Amgen Places A High Value On Safety In The Workplace, And As Such, A Senior Maintenance Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations. This Includes Knowledge Of Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Personal Protective Equipment, And Hazardous Materials Handling.
Strong Technical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior Maintenance Technician Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Complex Technical Issues In A Timely Manner. This Requires A Strong Understanding Of Mechanical And Electrical Systems, As Well As The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively To Solve Problems.
Ability To Lead And Mentor Junior Technicians: Amgen Values Teamwork And Collaboration, And The Senior Maintenance Technician Will Be Expected To Lead And Mentor Junior Technicians. This Requires Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Delegate Tasks And Provide Guidance And Feedback.
Familiarity With Regulatory Compliance: Amgen Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Senior Maintenance Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Compliance Requirements, Including Fda Regulations And Gmp Guidelines. This Includes Maintaining Accurate Records And Documentation Of Maintenance Activities.
