  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Amgen's clinical contracts and budgets processes and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement efficient and compliant clinical contracts and budgets processes.
  3. Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors, ensuring favorable terms and cost-effective solutions.
  4. Review and analyze clinical study protocols to determine appropriate budget and contract needs.
  5. Ensure contracts and budgets are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  6. Monitor and track contract and budget timelines to ensure timely completion and submission.
  7. Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to contracts and budgets and develop mitigation strategies.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract and budget-related activities.
  9. Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on contract and budget status.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on contract and budget processes and procedures.
  11. Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and compliance.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to clinical contracts and budgets.
  13. Represent Amgen in contract negotiations and meetings with external vendors.
  14. Act as a liaison between Amgen and external partners to ensure smooth and effective communication.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Law, Business, Or A Related Field, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Clinical Contracts And Budgets Management In The Biopharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Budgeting, Contract Negotiation, And Vendor Management.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategies To Optimize Clinical Trial Budgets And Contracts, Including Risk Assessment And Mitigation.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Related To Clinical Trial Contracts And Budgets, Including Ich-Gcp And Fda Guidelines.
