- Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Amgen's products.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the safety and quality of Amgen's products.
- Lead a team of statisticians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety evaluations.
- Provide statistical expertise and guidance to project teams and senior management.
- Review and interpret safety data, identifying potential safety concerns and developing risk mitigation plans.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of safety and risk assessment methodologies.
- Participate in safety-related meetings, presenting statistical analyses and providing recommendations.
- Communicate complex statistical concepts and results to non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and train junior statisticians on safety and risk management principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with external partners and regulatory agencies on safety and risk management-related matters.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and tools for statistical analysis and risk management.

Advanced Degree In Statistics, Biostatistics, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In A Statistical Role Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry
Expertise In Statistical Programming Languages Such As Sas And R
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Safety Data Analysis And Reporting (E.g. Fda, Ema)
Proven Leadership Experience, Including Managing And Mentoring A Team Of Statisticians And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams In A Matrix Organization
