Lead the implementation and optimization of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across all global programs within the organization.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SAFe principles and practices, and apply them in a strategic manner to drive growth and success.
Act as a subject matter expert on SAFe methodology and provide guidance and support to team members at all levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective adoption and integration of SAFe processes and practices.
Facilitate training and workshops to educate and coach teams on SAFe methodologies and best practices.
Identify areas for improvement and work with teams to implement solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and track progress of SAFe implementation, identify roadblocks and provide solutions to ensure successful adoption.
Communicate and report on SAFe progress and metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and developments in SAFe practices and incorporate them into the organization's processes.
Serve as a change agent by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and agile mindset within the organization.

Job Qualifications

Safe Certification: A Safe Program Consultant At Amgen Must Possess A Safe Certification, Such As Safe Program Consultant (Spc) Or Safe Program Consultant Trainer (Spct). This Certification Demonstrates A Thorough Understanding Of The Safe Framework And Its Application In Real-World Scenarios.
Extensive Agile And Lean Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Agile And Lean Methodologies With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Implementing These Practices In Large Organizations. This Experience Should Include Working With Safe Or Other Scaled Agile Frameworks.
Program And Portfolio Management Experience: A Safe Program Consultant At Amgen Must Have Experience In Leading And Managing Large-Scale Programs And Portfolios. This Includes Developing And Managing Budgets, Schedules, And Resources, As Well As Mitigating Risks And Resolving Conflicts.
Excellent Communication And Facilitation Skills: As A Safe Program Consultant, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Facilitation Skills To Effectively Train, Coach, And Mentor Teams And Leaders In The Adoption Of Safe Practices. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
Leadership And Coaching Abilities: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Inspire And Guide Teams To Embrace The Safe Framework. They Should Also Have Experience Coaching And Mentoring Teams And Individuals In Agile Practices And Be Able To Adapt Their Coaching Style To Meet The Needs Of Different Teams And Individuals.
