  1. Develop and optimize robust and scalable processes for the production of biologic therapies.
  2. Lead and execute process development experiments and studies to support process improvement and optimization.
  3. Design and implement process characterization and validation studies to ensure robust and efficient manufacturing processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and regulatory, to drive process development activities and achieve project goals.
  5. Utilize statistical tools and process modeling techniques to analyze and interpret data, identify process trends, and troubleshoot issues.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and innovations in process development to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  7. Write and review technical reports, protocols, and regulatory documents to support process development activities and submissions.
  8. Train and mentor junior scientists on process development techniques and best practices.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  10. Represent the process development team in cross-functional meetings and provide updates and recommendations to management regarding project progress and potential risks.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in process development activities.
  12. Support tech transfer activities to ensure successful implementation of processes in manufacturing facilities.
  13. Proactively identify and propose solutions to overcome process challenges and optimize product quality and yield.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized records of all process development activities in accordance with company procedures.
  15. Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth within the process development team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Related Scientific Field (E.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Process Development Within The Biopharmaceutical Industry

  • Expertise In Protein Expression, Purification, And Characterization Techniques

  • Strong Understanding Of Current Regulatory Requirements And Industry Standards For Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Projects In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment.
