In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing processes for the production of life-saving biologic drugs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field, along with experience in process development and optimization.   1. Conduct research and experiments to develop and optimize processes for the production of biologic drugs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  3. Utilize knowledge of biochemistry and cell biology to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges in process development.
  4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process development activities.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety protocols in all process development activities.
  6. Participate in technology transfer activities to transfer processes from research to commercial production.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in process development, and implement them as appropriate.
  8. Assist in the scale-up and optimization of processes for large-scale production.
  9. Communicate results and progress to team members, management, and other stakeholders.
  10. Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and publications.
  11. Maintain accurate and thorough records of experiments and data.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members in process development techniques and procedures.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  14. Adhere to Amgen's core values and code of conduct at all times.
