As a Patient Access Liaison, you will serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, navigating complex processes to ensure patients receive the care they need. Serve as the main point of contact for patients with rare diseases, providing them with support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate the access of life-saving treatments for rare diseases.
Navigate complex processes and procedures to ensure timely and efficient access to treatment for patients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the process of obtaining treatment for patients.
Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, including insurance coverage and financial assistance options.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Amgen to support the development and implementation of access strategies for rare disease treatments.
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and changes in the healthcare industry, particularly related to rare diseases and patient access.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations.
Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance patient access to treatment and improve overall patient experience.
