  1. Lead and oversee the planning, design, and execution of observational research studies to generate real-world evidence for Amgen products.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and healthcare providers.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all observational research activities.
  4. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful completion of research studies.
  5. Provide strategic input and guidance to support the development of research plans and objectives.
  6. Analyze and interpret data from observational studies to generate insights and recommendations for Amgen products.
  7. Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences, including scientific conferences and publications.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in observational research methodologies, and incorporate best practices into Amgen's research strategy.
  9. Mentor and develop junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of real-world evidence into product development and commercialization strategies.
  11. Represent Amgen and serve as a subject matter expert at external meetings and events related to observational research.
  12. Uphold Amgen's values and culture of innovation, collaboration, and patient-focus in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree Or Higher In A Relevant Field Such As Market Research, Psychology, Or Sociology

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In A Market Research Or Observational Research Role, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Observational Research Methodologies And Data Collection Techniques, Including Patient And Physician Surveys, Chart Reviews, And Claims Data Analysis

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Projects, Including Budget Management And Vendor Selection And Management

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Data And Insights To Both Internal And External Stakeholders
