We are seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Amgen as a leader in Inflammation, specifically in the fields of Dermatology and Rheumatology.   1. Develop and lead the medical strategy for the Inflammation portfolio, specifically in Dermatology and Rheumatology, in alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of medical strategies and plans.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of scientific and clinical data to provide medical insights and support decision-making.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert in Inflammation, staying abreast of the latest developments, trends, and competitive landscape.
  5. Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders.
  6. Provide medical expertise and support to the clinical development team, including protocol development, study design, and data interpretation.
  7. Represent the company at scientific conferences, advisory boards, and other medical meetings.
  8. Provide training and support to internal teams on product knowledge, disease state, and medical data.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, both internally and externally.
  10. Mentor and develop junior medical team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  11. Participate in the development and review of medical publications, including abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations.
  12. Collaborate with commercial teams to support the development of promotional materials and activities.
  13. Continuously assess and evaluate the medical landscape to identify potential business opportunities and risks.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of medical activities.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to ethical and responsible conduct in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) With Board Certification In Dermatology Or Rheumatology

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Physician In The Field Of Inflammation, Preferably In A Dermatology Or Rheumatology Setting

  • Leadership Experience, With Proven Ability To Manage And Lead A Team Of Medical Professionals

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design And Execution, As Well As Regulatory Requirements For Drug Development In The Inflammation Field

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders, Including Kols, Investigators, And Regulatory Bodies.
