Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Director to join our team as the gMG-Rare Disease expert. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and strategic direction for the development and commercialization of our rare disease portfolio. We are looking for a strong leader with a deep understanding of gMG and rare diseases, as well as proven experience in clinical development and medical affairs.   1. Provide medical leadership and strategic direction for the development and commercialization of rare disease portfolio.
  2. Serve as the subject matter expert on gMG and rare diseases within the company.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders in the rare disease community.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on medical strategies and activities.
  5. Oversee the design and execution of clinical trials for rare disease treatments.
  6. Review and analyze clinical trial data to inform decision making and provide medical insights.
  7. Develop and implement medical affairs plans to support the launch and commercialization of rare disease treatments.
  8. Act as a key spokesperson for the company at medical conferences and other external events.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and trends in the field of rare diseases and gMG.
  10. Mentor and train junior medical team members.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  12. Represent the company in interactions with regulatory authorities.
  13. Collaborate with market access teams to develop and execute market access strategies for rare disease treatments.
  14. Act as a liaison between the company and patient advocacy groups.
  15. Identify and pursue opportunities for external collaborations and partnerships in the field of rare diseases.
  16. Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the rare disease portfolio.
  17. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centricity and ethical standards.
  18. Engage in continuous learning and professional development to maintain expertise in gMG and rare diseases.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Institution

  • Board Certification In Neurology Or Related Specialty

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Biopharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In Medical Affairs Or Clinical Development

  • In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Rare Diseases, Specifically Gmg (Generalized Myasthenia Gravis)

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders
