Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal and external stakeholders on oncology and hematology products and therapies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for improving patient outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of oncology and hematology and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders.
Conduct medical and scientific research to support the development and approval of new products.
Act as a medical resource for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers, providing them with accurate and up-to-date information on our products.
Develop and deliver presentations and trainings on our products to internal and external audiences.
Represent the company at medical conferences, symposiums, and other events.
Participate in the development of medical communication and educational materials for healthcare professionals and patients.
Review and provide medical input on promotional and educational materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with clinical research teams to provide medical oversight and support for clinical trials.
Conduct medical and scientific advisory board meetings with key opinion leaders in the field.
Serve as a liaison between the company and healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and other external stakeholders.
Support market access initiatives by providing medical and scientific input to pricing and reimbursement discussions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the medical affairs function.

Job Qualifications

Medical Degree And Active Medical License: A Medical Advisor - Oncology & Hematology At Amgen Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And Be Licensed To Practice Medicine In The Jurisdiction Where They Will Be Working.
Specialty Training In Oncology And Hematology: This Role Requires Specialized Knowledge And Expertise In Oncology And Hematology, So Candidates Should Have Completed A Residency Or Fellowship In This Field.
Extensive Clinical Experience: Amgen Is Looking For Candidates With Several Years Of Clinical Experience In Oncology And Hematology, Ideally In A Leadership Or Advisory Role.
In-Depth Understanding Of Current Therapies And Research: As A Medical Advisor, It Is Essential To Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Current Landscape Of Oncology And Hematology Treatments And Ongoing Research In The Field.
