- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for Amgen's rare disease portfolio.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, competitors, and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, market access, and sales to ensure alignment and integration of marketing strategies.
- Create and manage promotional materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the value and benefits of Amgen's rare disease products to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets for rare disease products.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and guidelines related to rare disease marketing.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including KOLs, patient advocacy groups, and internal teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on rare disease marketing within the organization.
- Conduct training and presentations to educate internal teams on rare disease marketing strategies and plans.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to marketing activities.
- Make recommendations for product positioning, messaging, and branding based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the marketing team.
- Represent Amgen at conferences, events, and other external engagements related to rare disease marketing.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Experience In Rare Disease Marketing: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Executing Marketing Strategies For Rare Disease Products Is Required For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Opportunities In Marketing To This Patient Population.
Strong Knowledge Of Rare Disease Landscape: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape In Rare Diseases, Including Knowledge Of Key Opinion Leaders, Patient Advocacy Groups, And Market Trends. This Will Be Essential In Developing Effective Marketing Strategies For Amgen's Rare Disease Products.
Strategic Thinker: The Marketing Manager Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Develop Innovative Marketing Plans That Can Effectively Reach And Engage The Rare Disease Patient Population. They Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Executing Marketing Campaigns That Drive Business Results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: This Role Will Require Strong Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Sales, Medical Affairs, And Market Access. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Different Teams And Drive Alignment On Rare Disease Marketing Strategies.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Or Related Field: A Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. An Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Is Preferred.
