Job Description

Amgen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of In-Vitro Diagnostics. The Manager of In-Vitro Diagnostics will play a critical role in supporting our mission by leading the development and implementation of in-vitro diagnostic strategies for our portfolio of products.   1. Develop and implement in-vitro diagnostic strategies for Amgen's portfolio of products.
  2. Lead and manage projects related to in-vitro diagnostics, including timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of diagnostic strategies with overall product development plans.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in diagnostic technologies, and provide recommendations for their integration into Amgen's products.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the diagnostics industry, including diagnostic companies, regulatory agencies, and scientific experts.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for in-vitro diagnostics, including FDA and international standards.
  7. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape for in-vitro diagnostics, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  8. Communicate diagnostic strategies, progress, and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  9. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the in-vitro diagnostics team and across the organization.
  11. Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and evaluate potential diagnostic collaborations and partnerships.
  12. Represent Amgen at relevant conferences, meetings, and events related to in-vitro diagnostics.
  13. Manage and maintain budget for in-vitro diagnostics projects and initiatives.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of diagnostic data and results to stakeholders.
  15. Drive the development and implementation of quality control processes for in-vitro diagnostics.
  16. Ensure all in-vitro diagnostic activities are conducted in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  17. Proactively identify and address potential challenges and risks related to in-vitro diagnostics.
  18. Continuously evaluate and improve diagnostic processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  19. Maintain a strong understanding of Amgen's mission and values, and ensure all in-vitro diagnostic strategies align with them.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The In-Vitro Diagnostics Industry, Preferably In A Managerial Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards For Diagnostic Products, Including Fda And Iso Guidelines.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Management.

  • Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Plans For Product Development And Commercialization In The In-Vitro Diagnostics Market.
