Job Description

As a Local Trial Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of clinical trials at a local level.   1. Plan and oversee the execution of clinical trials at a local level, ensuring adherence to protocol and regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage all aspects of trial operations, including study start-up, enrollment, patient follow-up, and study closure.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investigators, study coordinators, and study sites, to ensure smooth and efficient trial conduct.
  4. Monitor trial progress and identify and address any issues or risks that may impact timelines or data integrity.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data management, biostatistics, and medical writing, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of trial results.
  6. Develop and maintain trial-specific documents, such as protocols, informed consent forms, and study manuals.
  7. Conduct site visits to assess compliance with protocol, regulatory requirements, and good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines.
  8. Provide training and support to study site staff on study procedures and protocol requirements.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate collection and reporting of trial data, including adverse events and serious adverse events.
  10. Communicate trial updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including study team members, senior management, and regulatory authorities.
  11. Monitor trial budget and expenses to ensure adherence to approved budget.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to clinical trials and apply them to trial management processes.
  13. Mentor and provide guidance to more junior team members to facilitate their development and success.
  14. Embody Amgen's values and culture, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance trial efficiency and quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Life Sciences, Healthcare, Or Business Management.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Trials Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Local And International Regulations And Guidelines Related To Clinical Trials.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Deadlines.
