  1. Welcome and orient new interns to Amgen's mission, values, and work culture.
  2. Provide support to the Medical Affairs/Scientific Communications team by assisting with various tasks and projects.
  3. Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  4. Assist with researching and analyzing scientific data to support the development of innovative medicines.
  5. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of scientific communication materials, including presentations, publications, and product information.
  6. Attend meetings and take notes to support the team in achieving their goals.
  7. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and progress on projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Medical Affairs And Scientific Communications: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Field Of Medical Affairs And Scientific Communications, Including Familiarity With Relevant Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Intern Will Be Responsible For Creating And Presenting Scientific Materials To Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Scientific Background: A Background In A Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Pharmacology Is Preferred For This Role. This Will Enable The Intern To Better Understand And Communicate Complex Scientific Information.

  • Attention To Detail: The Intern Must Possess A High Level Of Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Review And Analyze Scientific Data And Materials.
