Develop and implement immigration policies and procedures for all global locations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all immigration-related matters, providing guidance and support to employees and HR teams.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations, identifying and addressing any areas of concern.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, HR, and external partners, to provide guidance and support on immigration matters.
Stay up-to-date on changes to immigration laws and regulations and communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
Manage the visa and work permit application process for employees, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all required documentation.
Coordinate and track all immigration-related activities, including visa renewals, extensions, and permanent residency applications.
Provide guidance and support to employees on immigration-related matters, including visa requirements, travel restrictions, and documentation.
Monitor and report on immigration-related expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Serve as the subject matter expert on US immigration laws and regulations, providing training and education to HR teams and employees.
Develop and maintain relationships with external immigration service providers and government agencies.
Assist with the development and implementation of global mobility strategies and initiatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date immigration records and files.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Support the company's diversity and inclusion efforts by ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees in the immigration process.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Us Immigration Laws And Regulations: A Global Mobility Manager At Amgen Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Complex And Ever-Changing Us Immigration Laws And Regulations. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Any Changes In Visa Categories, Eligibility Requirements, And Filing Procedures.
Experience With Managing Global Immigration Programs: Amgen Operates In Multiple Countries, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Immigration Programs On A Global Scale. This Includes Knowledge Of Country-Specific Immigration Processes And Requirements.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Global Mobility Manager, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Employees, Managers, And External Immigration Authorities.
